Wander in through the porch, then the hall, to discover elegant accommodation with high ceilings and large windows. Make your way into the lounge to settle yourselves on the sofas, switch on the TV or watch a film via the Blu-Ray player. Decide whose turn it is to cook if you plan to stay in for the evening, then head through to the well-designed kitchen/diner to whip up some tasty dishes. Gather around the table when dinner is ready, with the wood burner crackling gently in the background. Find a useful utility space with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Make your way upstairs, pausing on the landing to absorb the Lakeland vistas, then head into either the king-size bedroom, with TV/DVD, or the twin, with beds that can be arranged as a super-king-size room if discussed in advance.
