Come together in the sociable kitchen/diner, where you can whip up feasts for the group to share around the gorgeous wooden dining table overlooking the garden. Head into Holt to explore its boutiques and galleries, before hopping on the heritage steam train to visit the coast and the Victorian seaside resort of Sheringham (6 miles). Here, you’ll find a wide expanse of golden sand, colourful beach huts, and cute gift shops and eateries. Wildlife enthusiasts must pay a visit to Blakeney Point (you can catch a ferry from Morston Quay, 8 miles away), where you can take exhilarating coastal walks to admire the rare sea birds and resident colony of grey seals.
