Located within an end-of-terrace townhouse close to the bustling heart of Tenby, this three-bedroom apartment is a welcoming home-from-home for a family or group of friends. Climb the stairs to the first floor and after a busy day outdoors you can stretch out in front of the TV in the lounge, or get out the board games for some friendly after-dinner competition once the table has been cleared. There’s a choice of eateries and takeaways close by, but the kitchen here has everything you’ll need to make light work of any self-catering stay. Completing that homely feel, the bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower cubicle so there really is something to please everyone. When it’s time to sleep, three bedrooms are spread across two floors. On the first floor, the king-size bedroom has its own TV/DVD, while on the second floor the master king-size room has its own en-suite shower room and TV/DVD. The third room has twin beds. Pembrokeshire’s largest town, Tenby, has a fascinating history, golden sands, cobbled streets and a thriving cafe culture. Less than 200 metres from your doorstep, gorgeous North Beach is dotted with rock pools and the prominent Goskar Rock. At one end, the sheltered Harbour Beach has a quaint fishermen’s chapel, and further on, the remains of Tenby Castle perch on top of Castle Hill, almost surrounded by the sea. At its foot, a small beach looks onto St Catherine’s Island and is the starting point for boat trips to Caldey Island; at low tide, this beach joins up with the dune-backed South Beach, a favourite for families thanks to its gently sloping sands. Stroll around the town’s bustling centre then stretch everyone’s legs with a 4-mile walk on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to Saundersfoot – you can catch the bus back!
