Situated in the heart of the friendly village of Yarpole, this stylish, light and relaxing former chapel dates back to the 19th century and has been imaginatively updated to offer cosy holiday accommodation for families and friends. With ample room for up to five guests the fresh and spacious retreat features a central wood burner, original arched windows and wooden beams. Just a few miles from the border with Wales, this elegantly furnished, charmingly decorated hideaway is perfect for keen walkers, nature lovers and cyclists exploring the glorious Herefordshire countryside. Large wooden doors lead into the original stone entryway before glazed doors lead into the main body of the chapel which has been tastefully reimagined as a fresh, welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This beautiful space has arched windows allowing plenty of light to stream in, comfortable seating, a fully equipped kitchen, relaxing dining area and a cosy wood burner at the heart of the space. There's also an elegant ground-floor shower room. The first of the chapel's three airy bedrooms is on the first floor: a pretty king-size bedroom alongside a useful snug area with a desk and daybed. From the main part of the property a second staircase leads up to a landing where you will find two further bedrooms: a charming king-size and a sweet single alongside an invigorating Jack and Jill bathroom with a freestanding bath. Outside, the enclosed courtyard garden is split across levels and features a choice of outdoor furniture and a BBQ, providing a lovely spot for summer dining. Yarpole has a welcoming pub and is surrounded by a wealth of fantastic attractions including the Offa's Dyke Centre, The Spaceguard Centre, Croft Castle, Mortimer Forest and Berrington Hall, all within 17 miles. Heading north-west you can explore the glorious Shropshire Hills National Landscape (13 miles).
