Head inside via the hall to slide off your wellies or unlace your walking boots. Make your way on into the beamed lounge to stoke up the wood burner, play a game or switch on the Smart TV. The kitchen/diner is another great place to congregate when you are not out and about. Pull back the garden doors and the top of the stable door whenever the weather is fine. Then set about preparing a hearty feast for your family or friends to sit down to at the table. Gaze out across the Yorkshire countryside as you dine. A utility room and a WC are also downstairs, together with a double bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom. Visit the Forbidden Corner, 7 miles away, with its delightful gardens, featuring caves, tunnels and follies. Jervaulx Abbey, 10 miles away, is a lovely place to walk and have a picnic.
