The three-bedroom cottage sleeps six people and also welcomes a pair of dogs. From here venture out to discover more about poet William Wordsworth and children’s author Beatrix Potter at Hawkshead Old Grammar School and the Beatrix Potter Gallery. Venture 3 miles to Coniston Water or 2 miles to Lake Windermere, or simply relax in the appealing garden, with its country and woodland views. Step inside to find a warm welcome and comfortable accommodation for your stay. Enter the lounge and settle on the comfortable seating; find a film to enjoy together on the TV/DVD or listen to some music on the Hi-Fi. Make your way through into the farmhouse kitchen/diner to prepare tasty meals with the fresh provisions you have bought. Dine in here at the table; afterwards, amble through to the conservatory to have coffee and absorb the rural vistas. Find you also have a downstairs WC. Spend the morning at striking Wray Castle, 3 miles away, which also has incredible views. Venture 5 miles to bustling Ambleside to peruse the independent shops and dine out in pubs and restaurants.
