The inviting, two-storey abode comes with a courtyard garden where you can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine in the warmer months and a wood burner for snuggling down next to in the autumn and winter. Wander inside via the front door, with its covered porch, and amble on through to the welcoming lounge. Open the French doors in here on fine days or light the wood burner when it's chilly. Find a good film to enjoy together on the Smart TV on cosy nights in. The kitchen/diner has been equipped with everything you need to help you cater for your party. Prepare delicious feasts with the Lakeland produce you have bought on your forays then gather round the table. There is also a WC downstairs. When you are ready to turn in for the night, head off to any of the three bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room and another has a smaller 4' double bed. There is also a family bathroom. Board a steam train along the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway to experience the glorious scenery of the southern Lakes from the comfort of a carriage. Hop on a cruise boat at Lakeside (4 miles) to enjoy Windermere from the water. While away an afternoon at the National Trust's Fell Foot (4 miles) where you can picnic, stroll or try your hand at canoeing or paddle boarding.
