Spend the day exploring the historic charm of Hastings, strolling through its quaint cobbled streets, visiting the medieval Hastings Castle, and enjoying the vibrant fishing community atmosphere. Take a trip on the East Hill funicular railway which takes you up to the spectacular views from Hastings County Park, or a visit to Smugglers Adventure, nestled just below the house, gives a flavour of Hastings' smuggling past. Slightly further afield are many historic castles and gardens to enjoy such as Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter House and Gardens, or Herstmonceux Castle. Step through the front door where a warm welcome awaits as you enter this stylish designed, vibrant open-plan lounge/diner boasting an electric flame effect stove nestled in the fireplace for chilly evenings.
