Upstairs there are two further bedrooms: a cheerful king-size room and a pretty single, alongside an invigorating shower room. To the west, the thriving town of Alnwick (4.5 miles) has a choice of friendly pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants, and is home to the wonderful Alnwick Garden and the majestic Alnwick Castle. Also nearby are Dunstanburgh Castle, Hulne Priory, and Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum (all within 8 miles).
