Back inside, move upstairs to find three individually designed bedrooms, a king-size, a double and a final single. Each bedroom is served by a family bathroom, also on the first floor, and benefits from views that each guest will love to wake up to. Just half a mile outside the village and an equal distance to Coniston Water, this cottage is well-positioned for all sorts of adventures in this neck of the woods. Rent some kayaking, SUP boarding or even boarding equipment at the nearby launch and prepare to explore the lake off your own back. You can also embark on a cruise on the National Trust-run Steam Yacht Gondola for an easy way to see the waters. You can also stay inland and get hiking, summiting The Old Man of Coniston Fell is a must for keen outdoorsmen.
