Whip up delicious family meals in the well-equipped kitchen area while chatting to fellow guests. After meals, hunker down in the cosy lounge area and spend a relaxing evening in front of the TV. Afterwards, stroll the ancient cobbled streets of nearby Clovelly (2 miles), looking out for resident donkeys along the way. Keen surfers should head straight for Bude (16 miles), home to vast sandy beaches, excellent surf and an array of surf shops, while those in search of a bit of local history should visit Hartland Abbey (5.5 miles). Other nearby attractions include The Big Sheep (8.5 miles), The Milky Way (1 mile) and Dartington Crystal (16 miles).
