Overview

Enjoy a wonderful beach holiday at this pretty cottage on the Norfolk coast. One of five former fishermen’s cottages, it makes the perfect base for friends or a family with a great garden, a Smart TV, and a cosy wood burner. The cottage is in a picturesque village with a host of amenities. It’s close to the beach and ideally located for wonderful walks, visiting the Norfolk Broads and Great Yarmouth. The charming cottage has all the creature comforts you need for a relaxing break alongside gorgeous original features. Step into the bright lounge where there are two sofas to relax on, a Smart TV, an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner, and French doors to the patio. Head through to the stylish kitchen/diner where you’ll have memorable evenings cooking and enjoying wonderful meals at the dining table for four. There’s also a handy utility cupboard with a washing machine. The two cosy bedrooms are up the cottage-style stairs, a lovely, light double bedroom with storage and a welcoming bunkroom with adult-sized beds, as is the shower room with a walk-in shower. There are gardens at the front and rear, a patio with seating at the front, and a large lawn and patio with a BBQ and more space to sit at the rear. Pop out and explore the village, home to a cafe, shop, fish and chip shop, and a pub opposite the cottage where you can enjoy hearty meals. Walk to the sandy beach (less than 0.5 miles) and Winterton Dunes National Nature Reserve, an ideal spot for birdwatchers and walkers, and wander to the seal colony just north of the village. Visit the Norfolk Broads (6 miles) and have fun days out visiting the popular resorts of Great Yarmouth (9 miles) and Caister-on-Sea (5.5 miles).
