This cottage is nestled in the picturesque hamlet of Witherslack, conveniently located between the bustling town of Windermere and Grange-Over-Sands. This idyllic spot offers fantastic trails for both walkers and cyclists, with nearby scenic highlights such as Bigland Barrow (7 miles) and Fell Foot Park (6 miles) at Windermere's southern edge. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the chance to observe wildlife at Foulshaw Moss, Meathop Moss Nature Reserve, and Whitbarrow National Nature Reserve, all within a 3-mile radius, where ospreys and deer are often spotted. Additional attractions in the area include the promenade at Grange-over-Sands (5.6 miles), Levens Hall (8.5 miles), and Holker Hall and Gardens (8 miles). Visitors can also enjoy a cruise on Windermere or savour local cuisine in charming market towns like Cartmel (6 miles) and Newby Bridge (5 miles). Parking is available directly outside the front of the property and has ample room for two cars.
