This thriving coastal town features a beautiful mile-long shingle beach and is also a great destination for water sports enthusiasts, with opportunities for paddle-boarding and sailing. You can also visit the 18th century Whitstable Castle and Gardens or explore other nearby destinations including the popular city of Canterbury and the picturesque Herne Bay (both 7.5 miles).
