Ventnor is famous for its beautiful beach, traditional promenade and historic harbour, and has a wealth of excellent restaurants, pubs and shops. Attractions in the town include the Botanic Gardens, the Heritage Centre, Steephill Cove, the spectacular Cascade Gardens and the picturesque harbour. Heading north you can visit the Amazon World Zoo (6 miles), the Isle of Wight Zoo (7 miles), the popular Model Village in Godshill (5.5 miles) and the beautiful Shanklin Beach (4.5 miles). You can also follow the coast westwards to Blackgang Chine and St Catherine's Down (both within 7 miles).
