Set out on foot to explore the surrounding woodland and hillside walks directly from the property, or further afield to enjoy day trips to the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley (both within 20 miles). The Route 42 cycle trail also passes nearby. The single-storey, converted barn has a home-away-from-home vibe, with pretty soft furnishings and accessories, and artwork adorning the walls. Inside, a warm welcome awaits thanks to underfloor heating and a cosy wood burner. The main living space comprises an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a sumptuous corner sofa to sink into after a long walk, and a Smart TV/DVD for catching up on all your favourite programmes. A couple of steps lead through to the two inviting bedrooms; a double room and a cosy twin, both with en-suite shower rooms. The historic village of Raglan has a great range of independent shops and eateries to explore, along with an impressive medieval castle. Alternatively, head to the picturesque town of Usk (5 miles) to potter around the shops, markets, and museums, or perhaps take a stroll along the River Usk or partake in a spot of salmon fishing. For a day of water sports, journey to Llandegfedd Reservoir (10 miles), or for a fun family day out, Raglan Farm Park is just 1.5 miles away.
