From Seahouses Harbour (less than 500 metres) you can embark on a sea safari boat tour into the open waters, visiting the Farne Islands to spot seals and puffins aplenty. You can, of course, stick to dry land and discover the area on foot, following a coastal path up to Bamburgh (3.5 miles) where a mighty castle sits beside a fabulous golden sand beach. If trips to the beach are on the agenda, be sure to check out Beadnell Bay Beach, just 2.5 miles away and wonderful for sailing, sunbathing or dog-walking.
