Polperro (6 miles) and Looe (27 miles) are also popular choices for day trips, boasting pretty waterside views and quirky shops. The beautiful capital town of Truro with its magnificent cathedral is 40 miles away and the fascinating Eden Project can be reached in under 15 miles.
