Perched on a hill in a little wooded copse, this dog-friendly cabin is warm and inviting. The open-plan living space features two comfortable sofas with a wood burner and TV to one side and patio doors showcasing the view on the other. This homely room has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for preparing meals at home, and a dining table for four. In nice weather, you’ll surely spend most of your time on the terrace, relaxing with a book, watching for wildlife, or sharing a bottle of wine and stargazing. When night falls, get comfy under the covers of your inviting double bedroom. There’s an additional room with custom-made, L-shaped bunk beds that’s suitable for children only, along with a family shower room. The market town of Machynlleth (1.5 miles) is renowned for its quirky, eco-friendly vibe, with a focus on sustainable living and a variety of independent boutiques and antiques shops to browse. Pick up local produce at the Wednesday market, peruse the local galleries and modern art museum, and time your visit to coincide with the annual comedy festival if you like a laugh. Snowdonia National Park offers an abundance of outdoors activities, or venture to the coastal resort of Aberdovey (Aberdyfi) for traditional seaside fun (12 miles).
