Overview

This charming cottage for two is in the vibrant market town of Holt, 4 miles from the North Norfolk coastline. You’ll be within easy reach of the town’s pubs, restaurants, and coffee shops and nearby days out including the seaside town of Cromer, Blakeney Point, and Holkham Hall (all within 15 miles). After a day of adventure, return to your cosy abode to share a romantic dinner or enjoy a movie night together. The traditional brick and flint holiday home is decorated in a country-cottage style, with a beautiful blend of original features, comfortable furniture, and pretty soft furnishings. The front door opens directly into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can spend time trying new recipes using fresh, local ingredients and sharing mealtimes at the table by the window. In the evenings, snuggle up on the sofa next to the wood burner-effect electric fire to watch a film on the Smart TV. When it’s time for bed, head upstairs to the coastal-themed double bedroom for a good night’s sleep. There is also a single bedroom with a day bed, to accommodate another guest if required. A refreshing bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, there is a cute bistro table for sitting with a morning coffee as you plan the day’s itinerary. Holt is an elegant Georgian town known for its excellent array of independent shops and eateries. The steam train of the North Norfolk Railway departs from the town, and you can enjoy a relaxing journey through the picturesque countryside to the bustling seaside resort of Sheringham. The North Norfolk coast has a fabulous selection of sandy beaches, with highlights including Wells-next-the-Sea (12 miles) and Holkham (15 miles). For stunning countryside strolls, Holt Country Park is just 1 mile away.
