The central dining table and the fully equipped kitchen are perfect for preparing and sharing family meals. The historic village of Freshwater East is known for its involvement in 18th-century smuggling and for its wonderful long dune-backed beach which is a popular spot for water sports including kayaking and paddleboarding. Heading north, the walled town of Pembroke dates back almost a thousand years, with landmarks including Pembroke Castle, Monkton Old Hall and Mill Pond. To the west, the bustling resort of Tenby (10 miles) has several wonderful beaches and a range of great pubs and restaurants and attractions including The Dinosaur Park and Tenby Castle.
