The cottage has a reverse-level layout, meaning that the living area really makes the most of the far-reaching rural views. The spacious lounge/kitchen/diner features a chic kitchen with everything you need to rustle up a tasty meal, as well as a large dining table to enjoy evenings of great food and laughter together. At the end of the night, sink into the plump sofa or armchairs to watch your favourite programme on the TV. From here, French doors lead to the outdoor area, where you’ll discover an enclosed patio with garden furniture and magnificent countryside views. You’ll also have access to a separate private garden across the courtyard. The bustling coastal town of Minehead (21.5 miles) makes a great family day out. The town has a large sandy beach with views across the Bristol Channel, as well as numerous seaside attractions to keep little ones entertained. Spend a lazy afternoon pottering around the cute independent shops in Dulverton, before enjoying a slice of homemade cake from one of the cosy tearooms. Afterwards, take a gentle stroll along the river to marvel at the charming old pack-horse bridge.
