You’ll find beautiful walks to explore directly from the cottage, and you’ll also be within 20 miles of the wild and rugged landscapes of Dartmoor and Exmoor. For shopping and eating out, the cathedral city of Exeter is 17 miles away. The home-away-from-home has a country-cottage vibe, with traditional furniture and characterful original features. On the ground floor is a spacious kitchen/diner with a fabulous stone floor and rural views. Spend time here, preparing delicious, home-cooked feasts and sharing mealtimes at the farmhouse-style dining table. After dinner, relax in the cosy lounge and watch the Smart TV or read a book. A handy utility room completes the ground floor. The two inviting bedrooms are upstairs, one of which has a wonderful Juliet balcony. Both bedrooms boast en-suite facilities. The village is also the mid-way point for the long-distance Two Moors Way walking trail. The bustling market town of Crediton is 6 miles away and has a good range of independent shops and eateries, as well as a regular farmers’ market. For a day at the beach, the seaside resort of Exmouth is 26 miles away.
