Find you have a dishwasher to make clearing up easy and a washing machine for rinsing through any holiday clothing. Take a step down into the light-filled lounge, which has a high ceiling and another wood burner to bask beside. Drive 6 miles to Lakeside to board a cruise out on Lake Windermere.
