This charming 18th-century two-bedroom cottage is in the seaside village of Charmouth, just half a mile from a beautiful sandy beach. Surrounded by stunning Dorset countryside, it’s situated at the top of a steep, quiet lane which leads to a small nature reserve. Its proximity to local pubs (150 metres) and shops (400 metres), makes this the perfect escape for couples or families wanting to step back from the hustle and bustle of modern life. A pretty courtyard garden and an entrance porch lead you into the cottage’s open-plan sitting room, modern kitchen and dining area, with a traditional quarry tiled floor. A comfortable sofa provides the perfect spot to snuggle down in front of the wood burner, if the evenings are getting a little cooler. The Smart TV, stereo and DVD library should keep everyone entertained, too. To the rear of the kitchen, there’s also a handy utility area. Upstairs, discover a welcoming double bedroom with glimpses of the sea in the distance. The twin bedroom enjoys some lovely country views as well – just mind your head in the eaves.
