Charmouth (3 miles) has a range of great shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a pretty, unspoilt beach famous for its fossils, which you can find out about in the Charmouth Heritage Centre. Lyme Regis is just along the coast (4 miles), home to Langmoor and Lister Gardens, the Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium, several beautiful beaches and Dinosaurland Fossil Museum. Local attractions include Axe Valley Wildlife Park (4 miles), Forde Abbey House and Gardens (7 miles) and Beer Quarry Caves (13 miles).
