As you step inside the open-plan lounge/diner, you’ll notice the traditional cottage feel from the wooden beamed ceiling, stone flooring with underfloor heating, and a wood burner in an inglenook fireplace. Neutral tones fill the space with a hint of green throughout the soft furnishings. Behind the cosy lounge area with a sofa and two armchairs is a wooden dining table with comfortable chairs. Hire a boat at Llangorse Lake (5.5 miles) or challenge yourself to a hike to the summit of Pen Y Fan (4 miles) – which sits at 886 metres.
