The Monsal Trail and the Tissington Trail lead through the area, and the market town of Bakewell (2 miles) has some lovely restaurants, tearooms, shops and pubs. Local attractions and landmarks include Chatsworth House (5.5 miles), Haddon Hall (5 miles) and the Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath (11.5 miles).
