You will awake to bright mornings in this open-plan property in a lavish bed on a raised platform (up two steps), next to which patio doors open to an enclosed patio. After you plan your day over breakfast at the breakfast bar, you can take your coffee across to the comfortable sofa and unfurl in front of the TV, making the most of the surround sound experience. Or plug into the iPod dock and enjoy your own playlist in Hi-Fi. You can enjoy meals alfresco on the furnished, gravelled patio. If not preparing suppers in the well-equipped kitchen, you can add to your outdoor experience by cooking on the BBQ. The town of Torquay (5 miles) offers an excellent range of shops, a choice of well-regarded restaurants, pubs, cinemas and of course, some picture-postcard beaches, which continue around the whole of Torbay. The Princess Theatre (5 miles) offers some major names in entertainment throughout the summer season, along with the Pantomime season. Should visitors fancy a break from the beach, other places of interest in the area include Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves (6 miles), Babbacombe Model Village (4 miles), Living Coasts (5 miles) and Paignton Zoo (8 miles).
