Walkers can pick up the Norfolk Coast Path and Peddars Way in either direction from the town. Keen birdwatchers will be drawn to Cley Marshes to observe rare wading birds and will find more nature at RSPB Titchwell (20 miles) and Blakeney Point (1.5 miles), home to a grey seal colony. It’s also perfect for exploring the seaside towns of Sheringham (8 miles) and Wells-next-the-Sea (9.5 miles).
