There is a choice of country walks nearby, including Ham Hill Country Park (4.5 miles). Explore the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast where you can visit the iconic seaside town of Lyme Regis 20 miles, or West Bay (18 miles) with its harbour and beach. Retail therapy can be found in the towns of Yeovil and Crewkerne, both 5 miles away, Sherborne (10.5 miles), Ilminster (12 miles) and Chard (12.5 miles). Visit National Trust's Barrington Court (11 miles) and Montacute House (3.5 miles), and don’t forget to go to the Quantock Hills, or the nature reserves on the Somerset Levels.
