Climb the few steps into the lodge’s hallway, where you can leave coats and boots, and leads if your four-legged friends are joining you. There’s a utility room for anything that needs a refresh after a day out. Head into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, and together prepare a romantic meal with fresh local produce. Store the wine away in the wine cooler as you cook, and once everything is ready sit at the table for two and enjoy.
