This characterful 17th-century cottage has undergone a meticulous renovation and is nestled in the Somerset village of Rickford renowned for its ‘Swiss-style’ chapel. This pretty village has a local pub (65 metres) and a stream which passes the cottage to a shallow ford around a hundred metres away. You’ll be situated at the foot of the Mendip Hills, a National Landscape where walkers and cyclists can enjoy the spectacular scenery together with an array of wildlife nearby. It is also perfectly located for enjoying the area's must-see locations, such as the historic spa city of Bath (21 miles), the metropolitan city of Bristol (13 miles), the picturesque scenery of Cheddar Gorge and Caves (9 miles), and Wells (11 miles), the smallest cathedral city in England. There are also the local lakes of Blagdon (3 miles) and Chew Valley (7.5 miles) close by. Step inside this characterful property and you will immediately find yourself in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a perfect place for a peaceful breakaway.
