Walks in the beautiful and fascinating landscape of Dartmoor include stone rows and circles, clapper bridges and ancient dwellings – don’t miss the beauty spot at Fingle Bridge, 6.5 miles – while cyclists can access the Dartmoor Way Cycle Route only 100 metres away. Also nearby are Finch Foundry and Stone Lane Gardens, both 3.5 miles, Castle Drogo 5.5 miles away, or Moretonhampstead Motor Museum, 8 miles.
