Head 5 miles to the sweeping sands of Widemouth Bay for a day of seaside fun. Hire a surfboard or bring your own and tackle the Atlantic rollers, or take a surf lesson with one of the many beachside surf schools. Join the South West Coast Path from Widemouth and take an expedition over the clifftops to Bude, 3 miles, or drive directly from home (7 miles). Bude is large enough to provide a good range of facilities, yet it is small enough to retain its traditional Cornish charm.
