This charming property, situated just metres from Aberdyfi Harbour, is the perfect base for guests looking for a holiday close to the sea but also to Eryri National Park (Snowdonia). Sleeping four over two peaceful bedrooms, this first-floor apartment is laid out over two floors and boasts wonderful sea views from the main bedroom. Wake up among the peaceful blue tones of the sea, grab your morning coffee from the kitchen and head out to the terrace with a good book. The apartment, which is accessed via a flight of steep cottage-style curving stairs, has a contemporary open-plan style. The living and dining area is fresh and bright, with fantastic estuary views from the window next to the dining table, but it still feels cosy in the evenings to snuggle up and watch TV together. The kitchen has everything you need to cook delicious meals and leads to the small decked terrace. A stylish, compact shower room completes the first floor, but there’s a handy second shower room on the second floor with the bedrooms. Both rooms have a gorgeous coastal feel with tranquil decor; the double room has lovely sea views while the twin room is ideal for children to snuggle up in. Wander the colourful streets of Aberdyfi and stop for some ice cream or a coffee before heading to the beach. For a change of scenery, try the beautiful beaches of Tywyn (5 miles) and Llwyngwril (12.5 miles). Head into the national park for walks near Eryri, or visit Coed y Brenin Forest Park (31 miles) for family-friendly walking and cycling routes. Kids will love a ride on the Fairbourne Steam Railway (15.5 miles), while older children might prefer to adventure through old slate mines with Corris Mine Explorers (15 miles).
