Just 1 mile down the road is Sandown, the popular town with a sandy beach, pier, and the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary. Enjoy a family day out at Amazon World Zoo (3 miles), where you can see many exotic animals. History buffs will love a visit to Brading Roman Villa (2 miles), one of the finest Roman sites in the UK. Head off on foot and take a stroll along the Isle of Wight Coastal Path that runs straight through the village. Take in some stunning sights on this 67-mile route cusping the shoreline.
