With a vaulted ceiling and great expanses of glass, this is a beautiful, airy space in which to relax together and take in the far-reaching views. Pull the bi-folding doors right back on summer days to create seamless indoor or outdoor living. Light the contemporary-style wood burner during the colder months and sink back into the comfortable seating in front of the Smart TV. Whip up tasty meals over the kitchen space, then dine together at the table. At the end of each outstanding day away, head through to one of the lovely bedrooms to indulge in a great night’s sleep. These include a super-king-size, with doors opening to the hot tub area, and a twin, with an en-suite shower room and beds that can also be made up as a super-king-size if discussed in advance. There is also an opulent family bathroom with a free-standing bath at the lodge. Spend as much time as possible outside, basking in the sunshine, bubbling in the hot tub and enjoying the views as supper sizzles on the BBQ. Plan a trip to the National Trust’s magnificent Powis Castle and Garden, 8.5 miles away. Venture just over 3 miles to pick up a section of the long-distance Offa’s Dyke Path.
