For a splash in the surf with the dogs, choose between Great Western (6.5 miles), Holywell Bay (9.5 miles) and Watergate Bay (7.5 miles) beaches among others. Down on the south coast, find sheltered coves, quaint fishing villages and a host of popular attractions including The Lost Gardens of Heligan (16.5 miles) and the Eden Project (19 miles).
