This welcoming cottage in Bosherston, the epicentre of the climbing scene, is perfect for friends and families who want to be close to golden beaches, stunning coast path walks, and long bike rides. It’s next to the village cafe and has a patio area with access to a large, shared lawn at the rear, while two cosy wood burner-effect electric fires await inside for cooler evenings. The traditional cottage is charming, comfortably styled and finished with classic furniture. Go through the hall to the smart lounge with a wood burner-effect electric fire, a TV/DVD, and pretty, wooden floors. On the other side of the hall is the dining room with a second electric fire to keep you cosy as you dine or relax in the armchairs. Head through to the kitchen where you’ll find everything you need to create tasty meals. The well-appointed family bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, and the separate WC, complete the ground floor. Upstairs are the two welcoming bedrooms, both set under the eaves; a sumptuous double room and a cosy twin that kids will love. Outside, to the rear find a peaceful patio area where you can enjoy evenings of al fresco food and drink. Little ones or the dog will love the shared lawned space to the front. Wander to Broad Haven Beach (1 mile) and go for longer walks along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The local limestone cliffs have many challenging climbing routes, including some of the most popular amongst the climbing community in the UK. Explore the Bosherston Lakes, which are covered with lilies through June, and visit Pembroke (5 miles), home to shops, pubs, cafes, and restaurants. Keen golfers can play at the South Pembrokeshire Golf Club (8 miles), an 18-hole course with amazing views of River Cleddau and the surrounding countryside away.
