The living space is open plan, with a bijou kitchen tucked in a corner that includes an air fryer, a hob, a microwave/grill, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher – plus that all-important coffee machine for morning eye-openers. There’s a dining table for two and a comfortable sofa from which you can indulge in hours appreciating the glorious views or draw the curtains and enjoy a show on the Smart TV. At the far end of the pod, the king-size bedroom (one side of the bed is against the wall) is the perfect place for a good night’s sleep, and there’s a handsome shower room in which to enjoy a refreshing spritz. For fresh air and al fresco meals, your wraparound deck has dining furniture and a built-in BBQ. There is the ultimate in relaxation therapy: a hot tub with blissful views. The pod is set, with three others, on a fourth-generation Welsh dairy farm and is just 2.5 miles from the village of Corwen, which offers a small variety of shops and places to eat. In 10 miles, you can reach the picturesque medieval town of Ruthin, where there’s boutique shopping, fine dining and attractions including a Victorian gaol and a craft centre. The popular destinations of Bala, Betws-y-Coed, Denbigh and Llangollen are all within 15 miles.
