A reverse-level barn conversion in the tranquil countryside within 4 miles of Bude, one of the many popular coastal attractions along the Devon and Cornwall border. The family-friendly barn features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a large enclosed garden and easy access to beaches, walking trails and inland market towns. There’s even room for a pair of four-legged friends! The two-storey barn is set just off a narrow country lane overlooking undulating countryside peppered with long hedgerows and pockets of woodland. Its stone exterior immediately catches the eye, while its deceptively spacious interior is blessed with contemporary soft furnishings spread across hard flooring. Upon entry, you and yours will be met with a choice of three king-size bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. Each one offers plenty of storage space and plush decor. A handy utility room stands in the hallway, ideal for sorting mucky pups. Stairs in the hallway lead up to an open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen. This bright and welcoming space features a double-height ceiling with exposed beams, along with comfortable seating to enjoy everything from a film night to a hearty meal. The kitchen has plenty of room for creative foodies to work their magic. An exterior staircase leads from this area and down into the enclosed garden that is dominated by a lawned area on one side of the barn and a courtyard area on the other. The local area is home to an endless heap of beaches, towns and villages and walking routes taking in rugged headlands and the undulating countryside. Bude (4 miles) is a popular seaside resort home to beaches and dog-friendly eateries, and is a key stop-off point along the South West Coast Path. Inland, market towns like Holsworthy (7.5 miles) offer a true taste of Devon’s cultural offering. Tamar and Roadford Lakes (both within 12 miles) are a haven for water sports lovers.
