Full of rustic charm, inside the cottage you’ll find exposed beams, a stunning feature wall housing the wood burner and log basket and sloping or vaulted ceilings in many of the rooms. Light and bright throughout, the cottage has been decorated to create a calming environment. The wooden furniture and warm neutral colour scheme reflects the natural landscape outside, and is the perfect space to relax in. The pretty town is a time capsule for the area’s history, with the Museum of Mid Devon Life, a castle, and one of the UK’s last horse-drawn barges.
