You are well placed for visits to the historic town of Abergavenny (4 miles), full of shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Enter this characterful two-storey cottage, which offers a blend of old-world charm in its exposed beams and plenty of contemporary comforts that ensure a memorable stay. Pass through the handy boot room, where you can kick off your shoes and head into the open-plan kitchen with all the necessary appliances to make cooking hearty meals a breeze. There is a breakfast bar that leads through to the open-plan dining room and then into a gorgeous sunroom with doors out to the garden. Through an inner hallway and down one step is the cosy lounge, with comfortable sofas, a Smart TV, and a warming wood burner for the cooler months. Upstairs, there is a bathroom and two bedrooms, one with a four-poster king-size bed and en-suite shower room and one twin. For a great day of indoor and outdoor activities, head to Llangorse Multi Activity Centre (11 miles). Nearby Crickhowell (1 mile) is a great base for walking, canoeing, cycling, or fishing. For keen hikers, the highest point in the National Park, Pen y Fan (19.5 miles), is waiting to be climbed.
