The cottage is also perfectly placed for day trips to Holt (3 miles) or Cromer (8.5 miles). Enter the end-of-terrace character cottage into the farmhouse-style kitchen, which boasts a fabulous beamed ceiling and views across open fields. Here, you’ll find everything needed to create tasty dishes for the group, which you can enjoy around the cute dining table. From here, move through to the cosy lounge, which is decorated in a traditional style and has an array of comfortable seating set around a TV/DVD. Upstairs, two bedrooms with far-reaching countryside views await, along with the family bathroom. Outside, take in your tranquil surroundings in the wrap-around, enclosed garden. There is a lawn where children and dogs can play, as well as furniture for outdoor dining. Kelling is a traditional Norfolk village with several places to eat, including a friendly pub and tearoom. There are some lovely walks to explore in the area, such as the route through the wooded beauty spot of Kelling Heath. Your nearest beaches (1.5 miles) are Weybourne (shingle) and Kelling (pebble) or for long stretches of golden sand, head along the coast to neighbouring Sheringham (4.5 miles) or Wells-next-the-Sea (13 miles). Nearby attractions include the Muckleburgh Military Collection (1 mile) and the National Trust estate at Sheringham Park (5 miles).
