The market town of Kington lies midway between the Wye Valley (15 miles) and the Shropshire Hills (12 miles) offering miles of unforgettable walks. Presteigne (6 miles) is known for its classical music festival, while Hay-on-Wye (15 miles) is known for its book festival and numerous second-hand bookshops.
