This delightful single-level cottage is set in the pretty village of Cley-next-the-Sea, perfect for families looking to get away to the coast. For a day out, the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Cley Marshes Nature Reserve (1 mile) is the oldest and best-known nature reserve in the region which is a fantastic place to visit to spot rare local wildlife and wander through the picturesque scenery. At the heart of the home is the warm and welcoming living room/diner, filled with rich hues of terracotta and natural wood with dual-aspect windows allowing the light to pour in. The large corner sofa ensures space for all the family to sprawl out for film night, whilst the six-seater dining table is well-suited to mealtimes and board games. Next door, the kitchen has a homely feel with a neutral colour palette, furnished with everything you’ll need to cook up a feast during your stay with the addition of a two-seater table for a morning coffee. Come rain or shine, the sunroom is a great spot for socialising, enveloped by garden views with a selection of seating options. The double bedroom is accessible from the sunroom, boasting a pretty room with a dressing table and an en-suite for added privacy. In addition, there is a tasteful twin room with an en-suite and a playful bunk room completing the sleeping arrangements. Outside, the garden is filled with mature roses which come alive in the summer months as well as a table and chairs for a spot of al fresco dining. Cley’s pebble beach is a blissful spot for a walk, adjoining the Norfolk Coastal Path where you’ll be able to experience the rugged beauty of this part of the country. You’ll also have access to the ancient Peddars Way National Trail for an outdoor adventure. Pay a visit to Cromer (12 miles) and you can sample the local delights of Cromer crabs, or simply soak up the quintessential seaside experience as you explore the beach and pier. What’s more, you can also find Banksy’s ‘Great British Spraycation’ artwork in Cromer.
