Try Berry Head National Nature Reserve (2 miles) with nature trails and a working lighthouse. St Mary’s Bay Beach (shingle and sand) is within 2 miles – also check out Paignton (6 miles) or Torquay (9 miles). It is only 6 miles to Kingswear for the Dart Steam Railway or take a ferry from there to Dartmouth.
