Light the wood burner here then unwind on the soft seating as it throws out its enveloping heat. Find movies to watch together on the TV or DVD player or listen to your favourite station on the DAB radio. Prepare tasty dishes for two in the compact kitchen area then sit down at the table to enjoy them before heading out for a stroll. As night falls, make your way up to the first floor of the cottage.
