Days out from the cottage include Holker Hall, Lake Windermere, and Cartmel Racecourse (all within 5 miles). The apartment forms part of a small complex of similar holiday homes. From the courtyard, step into the shared hallway and take the stairs to this stunning, first-floor apartment. Inside, the holiday home has a gorgeous blend of rustic charm and contemporary touches, with exposed beams sitting alongside striking artwork and quirky accessories. The main living space is open plan, featuring a sleek kitchen for rustling up delicious dinners for two, which you can share at the elegant dining table. After dinner, relax in the cosy lounge area, watching the Smart TV in the glow of the stylish inset fire. When day turns to night, retire to the attractive double bedroom for a well-earned rest. Enjoy walks from the village along the River Eea or to the summit of Hampsfell, where the views are exceptional. For a day at the coast, head to Grange-over-Sands (3 miles) to walk along the promenade and admire the fabulous ornamental gardens.
